Yale decided to switched breed English Bulldogs to Olde English Bulldogges, by switching to Olde English Bulldogges breed they have now Handsome Dan XVIII WALTER, was born on September 23, 2016.

2 Months ago we started to modify an existing pirate design for the Riverdale High School in Georgia for their graduating class gift to the school.  The existing design of our hand-made, fiberglass pirate captain was amazing (as seen on many television shows and restaurants around the country) but they wanted to have our in-house artist sculpt a full arm and leg (eliminating the peg leg and the hook for a hand), so we started.

Right now, we are creating the mould for the piece and will be creating it to have to them in July.  Riverdale will be placing the captain in a glass display box to show off their school spirit and for the students, faculty and visitors to enjoy for many years to come.

While marble statues are most popularly associated with the Classical Age, in the Hellenistic Period — between Alexander the Great’s death in 323 B.C. and the rise of Rome in 31 B.C. — bronze was the premiere sculptural form.

Yet because of the nature of the medium — an alloy comprising copper, tin, aluminum and other metals — most of those works were melted down through the ages to produce helmets, shields, hinges and a host of other objects needed at the time.

“The ones that we don’t have and we haven’t found are gone forever because they were melted down. And that’s the vast majority, thousands and thousands,” said Kenneth Lapatin, co-creator of the exhibit “Power and Pathos,” which originated at the J. Paul Getty Museum in Los Angeles.

It’s now at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, showcasing some 50 bronzes once lost in fires, shipwrecks, volcanoes and earthquakes, and includes the statue base of one of the greatest bronze sculptors, Lysippos, the favorite of Alexander the Great.

“He was the Michelangelo of the period. We know from ancient writers that he made 1,500 statues. Not a single one survives, and that stone base is the closest we can get to his work,” Lapatin said.

Currently, we are putting the final touches on our custom 8ft bronze sculpture of General Tran Dow. Showing how we can take photographs and images and turn them into three dimensional sculpture to last a lifetime. This creation was done exclusively for a group of previous clients that placed our final casting of the late Ronald Reagan at Mile Square Park in Orange County, California.

Tran Hung Dao was born under the name of Tran Quoc Tuan around the year 1229 and past away in the year 1300 as a figure of legendary proportions.General Tran Hung Dao was known for using guerrilla warfare and scorched-earth tactics against his enemies and with an amazing counteroffensive, he was able to liberate the capital of Vietnam which drove the Mongols back to China.  With his actions, he became the first great Vietnamese military strategists that is still recognized among current Vietnam communities and people still to this day.

This is the first of a limited edition creation for our client and the detail was captured beautifully so that whether up close or from a distance, you will know it is the great General Tran Hung Dao.  Over the next few years, we will be working with our clients and other communities to place one among other areas around the USA and the world to celebrate an amazing war hero and icon of the world.
