Muhammad Ali, the charismatic three-time heavyweight boxing champion of the world, who declared himself “the greatest” and proved it with his fists, the force of his personality and his magnetic charisma, and who transcended the world of sports to become a symbol of the antiwar movement of the 1960s and a global ambassador for cross-cultural understanding, died June 3 at a hospital in Scottsdale, Ariz., where he was living. He was 74.

His family released a statement confirming his death. The boxer had been hospitalized with respiratory problems related to Parkinson’s disease, which had been diagnosed in the 1980s.

Mr. Ali dominated boxing in the 1960s and 1970s and held the heavyweight title three times. His fights were among the most memorable and spectacular in history, but he quickly became at least as well known for his colorful personality, his showy antics in the ring and his standing as the country’s most visible member of the Nation of Islam.

His in ring performances were history making and are talked about to this day among the sport of boxing.  We obtained a bronze life size heavy cast version of him from an Italian foundry that created him some time ago which we found during our world travels.  He has occupied our showroom for many years as we are fans of his great boxing career.  Now we are putting him up for sale to let a new fan celebrate his life and accomplishments forever.

Recently, we have completed a custom creation project for General Cigar Company as we created a life-size, Cigar Store Indian for their promotion that started at IPCPR show where if Cigar dealers purchased so many cigars, they received one of these limited edition, full size Indians for their store.

This was a limited edition creation done by us, All Classics Ltd (www.allclassics.com) as we created the model and mould from photos created by General Cigar Company who is the creator of such fine cigars as Punch cigars, Macanudo Cigars, Partagas, Cohiba, La Gloria Cubana, Hoyo De Monterrey and CAO.  We help created General Cigar bring their vision for company promotion to life size the late 1990’s as we started with hand-carved versions of their icon Punch for Punch Cigars as well as some bronze custom ashtrays and we still create the wooden punches for them every couple of years, they approached us at the end of the summer about this vision they had.

For their promotion, we created 100 of these Indians (completed in November, 2015) then due to the popularity of their promotion, they sold even more cigars in which we had to create an additional 10 pieces that shipped out the last half of April 2016.  With their design (like all of our custom designs), we keep the mould exclusively and if they want to run another promotion with their Indian again, we can create more when needed.
